 Today in Mr.Reece’s class we read a poem named “Out,Out” This poem is written by Robert Frost. We read over the poem and make a connection and conclusion about what we were reading. At the beginning of class, we also watched a video on Robert Frost, and discussed how a childhood should be. Today was a good day. 

 Today in class we worked on our rough drafts and learned about themes. We read some short stories and went over the theme for each of them. I learned about how to recognize and understand theme. I had a great day. 

 Today in American Lit, we worked on our Origin Myths. I had a pretty good today today. We watched two films. One was called “The Elevator” and the other was called “2*2=5” We continued with a conversation about the short films and gave different themes and reasonings about them. 

 Today we learned some brainstorming techniques. We learned about clustering, listing, and free writing. Here is the cluster that I made in class. 

 Hi! My name is Laura Davis and I am a 16 year old student at Cedar Grove High School. I work a part time job at Chick-Fil-A in Dunwoody, Georgia on Saturdays. My goal is to graduate from high school and continue to Auburn college and study Marine Biology. I plan to pass this class and hopefully learn a ton of skills on how to use proper grammar and wording. Super excited to see what i’ll learn this semester.
